After a two game road stint – The Men’s Teams are back at home for a clash with Balmy Beach RFC.

Mike Sutherland makes his first appearance this season, paired with Rookie back Scott Leonard. Joe Scrivo and John Varriano take on the half back roles.

The replacement’s are dominated by young talent. Cam Haslam, Rohan Goswami, and Callan Yan will be chomping at the bit to continue their dominate ball carrying and tackling. First XV

The Men in Black are on a hot streak as of late. With their fair share of early setbacks and unfortunate results, the Firsts have been able to learn quickly to put two crucial wins on the board in succession. This week is no different – and only one change was made in the back line for their showdown against the beach.

Ryan Toor, Stephan Lockhart and Noah Morton compose the youthful front row. Chris Reid and Tristan Ruse will take the trench work in the second row – while Ethan Sanders, Cam Sandison and Andrew MacDonald Shore up ranks in the Back Row.

Graham Dobbs reserves his place at 15, with Avery Lecce setting up shop on the one wing. Canada U20 Long-lister Josh Englebrecht fills out the other – in place of injured winger Matt Nicol.

Jamie Leveridge and Brad Watts make their stand in the Midfield this week as usual. Grayson Perry and Andrew Wilson (The only) take the reigns and lead the attack in the half back slots.

Ryan Davies, Veteran Scrummager Scott Delaney, and Kevin Cameron Cover the front row on the bench. Matt Borris, Dillion Downer, and Robbie MacNaughton cover the second/back row; While Kurtley Almeida, Joe Scrivo and Mike Cameron Round out the replacements.

“We are playing against a Quality Beach Side who are always a huge challenge for us” Quotes Coach Rodin Lozada. “We have played well as of late and our confidence has returned after a tough start to the year so it is going to be a great match between two old rivals.”
