Volunteer Camp Counsellor

You will be supporting the Cru Camp Counsellors responsible for the Minis Summer Camp and the Sports of All Sorts Camp. You will be asked to setup games, participate in games, help with kids and help make the camps a positive experience for the attending kids. You will be an assistant, volunteer counsellor and the expectation is that you will participate and help – no mucking about!

Preference is given to club members and volunteers are asked to commit to the entire week. You may be interviewed.

Club Projects: Winter Close / Spring Open / General Projects

Help us ready the club, our furniture, equipment and facilities for winter, or help us unpack in the spring. There will be lifting involved and moving items.

Event & Tournament General Volunteers

Help us with an event or tournament. There are lots of roles (field marshals, parking organizers, security, ticket takers, movers, shakers, bbq cookers, bar runners, and much much more!
We’ll make it obvious what the shift is (parking, tickets etc) and you can decide if that’s for you.

Team Social Coordinator (Adults)

Is your child on a team? Help organize events: potlucks in the clubhouse, marshmallow roasts, fun events, dances, whatever, for players, parents and team members.

There are not fixed “shifts” for this – please just claim the time you put in for approval.

Field Setup/Teardown

  • Field preparation (flags, cleanup)
  • Banners out around field/club
  • Signage on road
  • Flags
  • Seating prep
  • Tent setup

Video Livestreaming

Be part of the Cru Livestreaming Crew!

  • Livestreaming matches
  • Video camera operation
  • Switcher Studio (video production software)
  • Pitch-side video (bring your iPhone or Android phone)

If you haven’t done this before, some training will be required depending on your role.

Match Photographer

  • Digital photography of matches/club activities
  • Photo editing and submission to club photo library
  • Digital SLR will be available if you don’t have one

Minis & Youth Volunteer Assistant Coaching (for Adults/16yo+ only)

Help the coaches of the younger age grades out and be a volunteer assistant coach for the minis or youth teams (U6-U14). 

Open to parents and Crusaders players over 16yo.

This is your opportunity to shape the skills and experiences of our younger members!

  • It’s all about the FUN and LEARNING
  • Regular practice nights
  • Show up, introduce yourself to the Head Coach and the kids

You can just signup for evenings or Saturday mornings that suit you. No long-term commitment.

Team Management (Adults)

Great opportunity for parents! Help your coaches with team management: Teamsnap updates, scheduling, organization, kit/equipment, travel and more.

This opportunity is listed as “remote” but it’s both remote sometimes and at the club sometimes.
